The Dodgers are one of the top teams in MLB The Show 26, and while their basic roster is available by default, “unlocking” all the players, special cards, and custom lineups requires a few steps depending on your game mode. Here’s how to get the full Dodgers experience.
1. Update to the Live Roster
To make sure you have the latest 2026 roster with accurate stats, trades, and injuries:
Go to Settings → File Management → Load → Rosters.
Select Live Roster.
This will update key players like Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto to their current stats and positions. It’s especially important if you want realistic Franchise or RTTS gameplay.
2. Diamond Dynasty – Collecting the Dodgers
In Diamond Dynasty, “unlocking” Dodgers cards can give you some of the highest-rated players:
Live Series Collection: Navigate to Collections → Live Series → Dodgers. Collect all current Dodgers cards, and you can unlock a high-rated Legend card, often a 90+ OVR icon like Manny Ramirez or Duke Snider.
Team Affinity Missions: Complete Dodgers-specific missions and Conquest map objectives. These unlock flashback cards, special uniforms, and other rewards. It’s a grind, but stacking missions with Team Affinity goals makes it faster.
3. Custom or Historical Rosters
Want to play with the Dodgers’ greatest lineups of all time?
Go to Create → Vaults → Roster Vault.
Search for “Dodgers All-Time” or “Dodgers 2026 Realistic.”
Download the roster file and load it via File Management → Load Rosters.
You can now use it in Exhibition or Franchise mode to field historical or customized Dodgers teams.
4. Road to the Show (RTTS) – Playing for the Dodgers
If you want your RTTS player to start with the Dodgers:
In the main menu, set your Favorite Team to the Dodgers.
Start a new RTTS career.
The draft will now prioritize the Dodgers, letting you climb through their lineup and pitching rotation in your career.
